At its event in London, Samsung added two new laptops to its lineup: The Samsung Ativ Book 9 Plus and the Samsung Ativ Book 9 Lite.
The current ATIV Book 9 (formerly the Series 9), is basically an improved keyboard away from being the best ultrabook. So we're looking forward to see where Samsung would take the line—since expanding lines with lots of products is what Samsung does.
The new Book 9 Plus runs Intel's latest Haswell chipset, which allows it to get 12 hours of battery life. It weighs 3 pounds and measures 13.6 mm n thickness. The screen has the 3200 x 1800 qHD+ screen, the same as the last model.
The Book 9 Lite is configured differently, with a quad-core CPU (AMD, maybe?). It's 16.9 mm thick, and weighs 3.17 pounds.
As with the other announcements today, these are global so there's no word on pricing or availability.
