Twitter rolled out an update for Vine on Android today that brings over features previously only found on iOS such as revining, channels, and an improved camera user interface. The Android version will also receive one unique feature that iPhone users will miss out on — a capture widget that can be placed on the phone's home screen to jump into recording as soon as possible. The camera portion of the refreshed app has received improved grid and focusing tools. And there's also a new mute button, so you can watch videos in the app without having to listen to them.
The update was announced on the app's Twitter account and is now available in Google Play.
